Wherever your event takes place, PianoFactor is built to deliver. From city venues in London, Manchester and Birmingham to rural towns and villages across the UK, we provide professional live entertainment for events of all sizes.

Our three core acts each offer a different style of live entertainment.

Duelling Pianos
Our Duelling Pianos show is an exciting live entertainment experience featuring two piano entertainers performing face-to-face alongside additional musicians, creating a fast-paced, high-energy show built around audience requests. The setup includes twin baby grand pianos, professional sound and lighting, multiple lineup options and experienced performers who keep guests singing, dancing and on their feet throughout the night.

Party Piano Band
Our Party Piano Band combines the energy and presence of a professional live party band with the visual impact of a striking baby grand piano at the centre of the performance. Fronted by one of our experienced piano entertainers, the setup includes all instruments, professional sound and lighting, multiple band lineup options, and a vast repertoire of songs designed to keep you dancing and singing from start to finish.

Pop-Up Piano Bar
Our Pop-Up Piano Bar is a fully self-contained package that can be set up almost anywhere, transforming your space into a lively piano bar. Fronted by one of our lead piano entertainers, the setup includes everything needed to create an authentic piano bar experience - including a baby grand piano, sound system and lighting.

Each act is designed to suit different venues, event sizes and budgets, making it easier to choose the right format for your event.

If you’re unsure which option is right for your event, we’ll guide you. We work with venues, planners and private clients every week, and understand how different events run in practice.

Whether you need a full live band or a more compact piano setup, the focus is always the same: professional entertainment delivered with experience, confidence and attention to detail.

As standard, your booking includes:

  • Baby grand piano(s)
  • Up to three 45-minute live performance sets

We also manage the performance from arrival through to pack-down, ensuring everything runs smoothly and allowing you to focus on enjoying your event.

For events taking place in London, the sound system and lighting are not included as standard.

This reflects the practical logistics of working within London - using venue-supplied or locally hired sound and lighting is often the most efficient and practical approach.

As a general rule, yes. For London events, sound and lighting are not included as standard.

This approach reflects how venues operate across the city and is based on long-standing experience of the access, loading, and logistical challenges that commonly arise — even at venues that appear straightforward in advance.

In some locations with more practical access and loading arrangements, we may be able to assess the venue and advise whether providing sound and lighting ourselves is appropriate.

We’ll always confirm what applies once the venue location is known and clearly explain the most suitable setup for your event.

Many London venues present unique access and logistical challenges, particularly in central areas. Traffic, limited or restricted parking, security procedures, and long distances between vehicle access points and event spaces can all add significant time and complexity to loading and setup.

In these situations, transporting and installing production equipment can require additional crew and extended setup times, often adding complexity and cost without improving the quality of the performance itself.

For this reason, working with venue-supplied or locally hired sound and lighting is often the most efficient and cost-effective approach for London events.

Not at all — the performance itself is exactly the same. The PianoFactor experience, energy, and interaction are not affected by how sound and lighting are provided.

Using venue-supplied or locally hired production simply allows the technical setup to be handled in the most efficient way for the space, while we focus entirely on delivering a polished, high-energy live piano performance.

No — we’re happy to handle this for you, or work with arrangements already in place at your venue.

If you’d like us to manage sound and lighting, we can arrange trusted local AV suppliers and add this to your quote if required. Alternatively, if your venue provides production or you have a preferred supplier, we’ll liaise with them directly and provide clear technical guidance.

Either way, we make sure everything is coordinated in advance so there’s no extra work or stress for you on the day.

In many cases, yes. If your venue already has an in-house sound system, this can often be used for the performance, provided it’s suitable for your chosen PianoFactor Act.

We’ll check the system specifications in advance and liaise with the venue or their technical team to confirm it meets our requirements.

If the existing system isn’t suitable, we’ll advise on the most practical alternative and help ensure the right setup is in place for the event.

We’re happy to deal directly with your venue or technical team, so there’s very little for you to organise.

We usually just need some basic practical details to plan the setup and ensure everything runs smoothly, such as access arrangements and whether sound and lighting are already in place.

Where relevant, we’ll also confirm any technical details needed to support your chosen act.
