There are normally requests already waiting when our performance starts but if this is not the case then the piano entertainer will open the show with some familiar party songs to entice everyone on to the dance floor. Our piano entertainer will continue to mention the request slips and that anyone present is welcome to make a song request and bring it up.
Once a few requests are passed along, the leading entertainer will sort through them and put them into some sort of order. This way they can keep the flow of the event going and keep everybody dancing and singing. The audience is encouraged to join in on well known songs, with the piano entertainer getting them to sing out familiar parts in the songs that are being performed.
